The rabies vaccine has to be given between 30 days and 12 months before the date of travel to India. Dogs flying to India do not need a rabies titre test (RNATT) before travel.

Pet cats travelling to India must be vaccinated against rabies according to the manufacturer’s instructions. They must receive the anti-rabies vaccine between 30 days and 12 months from the date of travel. Cats do not need the rabies antibody test (RNATT) to travel to India.
