Basil, Baxter and Katrin

“Basil likes to play with laser pointers, and Baxter likes to play hide and seek.”

Katrin used Petraveller to relocate her two gorgeous felines, Basil and Baxter, from Perth to Frankfurt. Katrin talks about their temperament and tells us why she partnered with Petraveller for their international pet relocation.

Basil and Baxter were foster cats before Katrin brought them home. Katrin recalls, “It took me a little time to convince my husband to get cats. When he finally agreed, we chose Basil, as he is a very gentle cat who is only interested in cuddles and being loved. A few days after we adopted Basil, my husband’s heart melted so much that he agreed to adopt Basil’s brother Baxter as well. They are both loving cats with the most amazing personalities.

Katrin adores Basil’s loving personality. She says, “Basil loves to be cuddled for hours and loves his food. He also likes to play, especially with laser pointers.”

Baxter is very playful and loves cuddles too. “Baxter likes to be on his own, and you can find him in the funniest and most remote places in the house. He loves to talk and play hide and seek with me. Sometimes he brings home mice and the occasional bird,” says Katrin.

The Gray family were moving back to their homeland in Frankfurt, Germany. Katrin says, “After eleven years away from home, it is now finally time to move back to my home country. I have my business there as well as my friends and family. We have a big house with a massive garden. Basil and Baxter will be in cat paradise when they come over.”

The Gray family decided to engage the services of a pet transport agency to help with the pet relocation as they wanted their pets to have a safe and stress-free travel experience.
