Braxton and Afutele

“Petraveller genuinely cared about my pet.”

Afutele and her hunky Staffordshire Terrier Cross, Braxton, travelled from Sydney to Auckland with Petraveller. Afutele talks about the special bond she shares with her pet and tells us why she chose Petraveller over other pet travel companies.

Braxton was bought from a breeder in April 2012 for Afutele’s niece, but as he got bigger, her niece didn’t want him anymore. Afutele says, “As I had bonded quite well with Braxton, I decided to keep him. There’s no regret at all as I absolutely love him.”

Braxton has a loving and friendly temperament. He loves humans and gets on well with other dogs. Afutele says, “Although he is huge, he is very gentle. He is a food lover who loves his long walks and enjoys his tummy rubs.”

Afutele decided to move to Massey, Auckland to look after her unwell mum. She says, “I lost my dad last year in February and promised Dad I would look after her.” She decided to take Braxton along with her as leaving him behind would break her heart.

Afutele decided to take help from a pet relocation company for the international pet transport. She started an online search and found a few, one of them being Petraveller.
