Bruno and Monica

“Bruno loves people.”

Monica and her beloved Toy Poodle Bruno travelled from Canberra to Mumbai with Petraveller. Monica talks affectionately about her pet and tells us why she chose Petraveller for Bruno’s international pet relocation to India.

Monica bought Bruno as an apartment dog when she was living in the middle of the city in Sydney. Monica shares, “Lawrence (my husband) worked and lived in Canberra. So, Bruno was my company while I was working in Sydney and he travelled to and fro with me. As a result, he’s used to travelling but is quite a nervous boy and incredibly attached to Lawrence and me.”

Monica smiles and talks about Bruno’s temperament, “Bruno is very clever and easy to train. I don’t think he knows he’s a dog. He loves people far more than other dogs and is very in touch with people’s feelings. However, Bruno is a bit nervous and is sometimes needy.”

The Kennedy family were moving to Mumbai, India. Monica says, “We’re going to Mumbai with Austrade for up to four years. I’ll be working for Austrade, and Lawrence will be looking at some business interests. He’ll be home with Bruno most of the time, and Bruno will travel with us whenever possible. We would have reconsidered the opportunity to travel to India if we couldn’t have taken Bruno.”

Monica decided to take the assistance of a pet travel company to handle her pet dog’s journey from Canberra to Mumbai.
