Chanel and Dorothy

“Chanel is my special cat.”

Dorothy travelled back to her home town Christchurch with her beautiful Domestic Medium Hair cat Chanel from Brisbane with Petraveller. She talks about their special bond and tells us why she booked Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

Chanel is a gorgeous kitty who loves to be in photographs. Dorothy shares, “She doesn’t like being picked up for cuddles, but will come to you for affection. She likes her head stroked and above her tail rubbed. She get scared when she’s around strangers and frets when I’m not around. Chanel is my special cat, she’s such a pleasure to have. I like black and white cats they have something special about them.”

Chanel has her crazy moments in the house, hiding in the bath from the dogs. Dorothy recalls, “Chanel loved playing with my late Jack Russell. They got on great little boxing matches which were funny to watch.” 

Dorothy was moving back home to Christchurch, New Zealand. “It’s time to move back home after twelve years living in Gold Coast. As Chanel is a huge part of Dorothy’s life, it was obvious that she would be following her to New Zealand.

Pet travel can be quite stressful, especially if you’re in the middle of an international relocation.
