Gorgeous felines, Charlotte and Sophie, made their journey from Sydney to London with Petraveller. Pet mum Emma shares how Charlotte and Sophie became a part of her life and tells us why she chose Petraveller over other pet relocation companies.

Emma got Sophie when she was five-and-a-half weeks old. She had to bottle feed her and teach her how to use the toilet. Emma says, “The people I got Sophie from were irresponsible, she shouldn’t have left her mum so young. However, we made it through and have a beautiful bond from it.” 

Two weeks after getting Sophie, Emma wanted her to have a little friend to keep her entertained. This was when she got Charlotte. Charlotte was ten weeks old, three weeks older than Sophie. Emma recalls, “She was an anxious, nervous cat that didn’t like humans and had severe anxiety. The two quickly developed a bond and have grown up together.”

Sophie is the most loving, friendly little cat. She loves people and wants to be around everyone all the time. Sophie loves cuddles, playing and is always purring. Emma says with a smile, “She’s the cheeky one and always causing mischief.”

Emma goes on to describe Charlotte’s behaviour. She says, “Charlotte is very quiet and shy. She’s mute and doesn’t make any sounds. She doesn’t like to be picked up by anyone other than me but is not violent. If you initiate a game, she is super playful.” 

Emma adds, “Charlotte loves treats and is a piggy when it comes to food. She will eat Sophie’s food if I do not watch her. She loves cuddles with me and enjoys playing fetch with a toy mouse. Sophie will often clean Charlotte and is very protective. At times they play fight and run around together, I’ve never had to separate them for real fighting. They are the most lovely, playful little things.”

After living in Australia for many years, Emma decided to return to the United Kingdom. She says, “I have been studying and living out in Australia and moved here for a career opportunity. I now want to return to UK to open my business there, and it never crossed my mind to leave Charlotte and Sophie behind.”
