Charly and Francoise

“Charly is more like a dog than a cat.”

Petraveller flew lovely British Shorthair Charly from Sydney to Paris. Pet mum Francoise talks about the special bond she shares with Charly and why she chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation to Paris. 

Charly is a fifteen-year-old British Shorthair cat with a white patch on her right front leg. Francoise has had Charly since Charly was a little three-month- old kitten. Francoise says fondly, “We are joined at the hip. Charly is very spoilt with lots of love and attention as it is just her and me.”

Francoise goes on to share her pet’s beautiful personality. She says, “Charly is very social and calm. She is more like a dog than a cat. I am her home, as wherever I am, she is happy. Charly is not aggressive at all and does not attack or scratch. She has a gorgeous, friendly personality.”

Francoise continues, “Charly usually deals well with moving as long as I am with her. But I am not sure how she will cope with the plane travel.”

After being away for twenty-five years, Francoise was returning to her home town in Paris, France, to be closer to her family. As Francoise and her pet Charly share a beautiful bond, it was evident that Charly would be travelling with her to Paris.
