Chewy and Selwyn

“Chewy gives my life purpose and meaning.”

Selwyn and his handsome lad Chewy recently relocated from Brisbane to Auckland with Petraveller. Selwyn talks about his pet and shares why he booked Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

Chewy was given to Selwyn by his friend and flatmate David. David’s late sister’s dog had a litter and one of the pups was Chewy. 

Chewy is a mixture of Staffie and many other breeds. He is three years old and has been desexed and registered. Selwyn says, “He is loveable, loyal and gives my life purpose and meaning.”

Selwyn describes Chewy as a big brindle dog who looks fierce, but is very affectionate. He says, “Chewy likes to be cuddled and loves to snuggle up close, even to Nana!”

Selwyn had an accident at work and his dad Robert decided to bring Selwyn and his dog back home to New Zealand. Robert says, “Selwyn is coming home because his work cover case failed. Chewy is an integral part of his healing, and leaving him behind was unthinkable.”

Based on the vet’s recommendation, Selwyn reached out to Petraveller to assist him with his pet’s relocation from Brisbane to Auckland. He says, “We couldn’t do the normal process of getting several quotes because of the COVID-19 pandemic but our vet told us that Petraveller was top rate.”
