Coconut and Lydia

Sydney to Los Angeles

Trip Overview

Owner: Lydia Cloos

Origin: Sydney

Pet Name: Coconut

Destination: Los Angeles

Breed: Pug

“Petraveller provided a very detailed quote and information.”

Here’s the relocation story of an adorable Pug Coconut who fell in love with a St. Bernard. Read to know more about Coconut's personality and her international relocation experience with Petraveller.

Coconut became part of Lydia’s family in July 2020. Lydia smiles as she recalls, “We have always wanted a Pug, and we knew we would call her Coconut. That year, my partner surprised me with Coconut as a special birthday gift. She was the tiniest and cutest baby Pug in the world, and we dearly love her.”

Coconut is friendly and has a fun-loving personality. Lydia says fondly, “Coconut is an extrovert, very friendly and playful. She is also a little bit of a jokester and enjoys attention.”

Lydia chuckles and shares a funny incident, “Coconut used to kiss other dogs all the time when she was little. One day in the park, she fell in love with the biggest St. Bernard that could have swallowed her whole in one second. Many dogs were afraid, but she approached him and started kissing and never left his side.”

Lydia and her family were moving to Los Angeles due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Australia being closed. She says, “Leaving Coconut behind was never an option for us.”

Relocating a pet internationally can bring in a lot of stress and worry, but an accredited pet transport agency can ensure a smooth and stress-free pet travel experience. Thus, Lydia decided to hire professional pet transporters to move Coconut safely from Sydney to Los Angeles. She searched for pet travel options and spoke to a few pet travel agencies before choosing Petraveller.

Lydia says, “We were in contact with many companies, but some did not get back to us, and those who did, didn't attract us much. We found Petraveller to be the most convincing as they provided a very detailed quote with information about the whole process.”

We are overjoyed to say that Coconut had a wonderful journey and was a well-behaved doggo on her flight to Los Angeles. Coconut is now happily settling down in her new home and busy exploring the new outdoors and parks of LA. Thank you, Lydia, for trusting Petraveller with dearest Coconut. We wish you good luck and lots of fun and exciting adventures with Coconut in the United States.
