Crocco and Abigail

“Crocco likes to sound fierce, but he is a softie at heart!”

Abigail and her darling Miniature Schnauzer Crocco moved from Brisbane to Christchurch with Petraveller. Abigail talks about her pet’s temperament and tells us why she chose Petraveller over other pet relocation companies.

Crocco joined the Roberts family in March 2016 when he was eleven weeks old. He was bought from a breeder in rural Christchurch.

Abigail describes her pet’s personality, “Crocco is a very cuddly dog who likes snuggling up to us as much as possible. He has been fabulous with our daughter since she was born when he was eighteen months old. He’s very protective and likes to defend his home.”

Abigail adds, “Unfortunately, Crocco barks a lot at passers-by or if he feels threatened but would never harm anyone. He likes to sound fierce, but he is a softie at heart.”

The Roberts family was returning to Christchurch, New Zealand. Abigail says, “We relocated from Christchurch to Brisbane for my husband’s work. His fellowship has now ended and now we are returning home to Christchurch where he will start his new job. We considered all options for Crocco but decided it would be kindest to keep him with the family. We would have also missed him too much if he stayed behind.”
