Fin and Jared

“Fin loves to race around the house at all hours, all night long.”

We flew cute Domestic Shorthair cat Fin from Sydney to Auckland. Here’s proud dad, Jared talking about his pet Fin and the international pet travel experience.

Jared adopted Fin from a work colleague whose cat had kittens back in 2016. Fin is a super friendly cat. Jared says fondly, “I have never had a cat who loves people so much, even large groups of strangers, she simply wants to say hello to everyone.”

He adds, “She always greets me at the door when I come home, which I love. She’s a bit crazy as she loves to race around the house, all night long.”

Jared was moving back home to Auckland, New Zealand due to redundancy from COVID-19. He says, “I was already considering moving home to Wellington due to health issues in my family, and I am looking forward to settling back into the Kiwi way of life.” Leaving his pet behind was not an option for Jared, so he decided to relocate Fin.

Jared reached out to Petraveller for the relocation of his pet from Sydney to Auckland. He says, “I had a great experience with Petraveller flying my friend’s French bulldog from Sydney to Wellington last year. I was his caregiver in Sydney when she relocated.”
