Finn and Georgia

Sydney to London

Trip Overview

Owner: Georgia Mann

Origin: Sydney

Pet Name: Finn

Destination: London

Breed: Labrador Retriever

“Finn is the love of our life.”

Here’s a beautiful story of a handsome Labrador Retriever Finn, who relocated from Sydney to London with Petraveller. Read to know more about Finn and his international pet relocation experience.

Finn came to the Mann family about five weeks ago from a breeder near Orange, who are farmers but have a love for Labradors. Georgia says fondly, “Finn is our baby, and we adore him. We haven’t had him for long, but he is the most gentle, loving, and funny little guy. Like most Labs, he is obsessed with food and loves his family and meeting other dogs. He is so friendly and loves to be around people.”

Georgia describes Finn as a very loving and incredibly gentle puppy. He is adorable with children and babies. He is very chilled out and wants to be cuddled and loved at all times. Georgia shares, “Finn sleeps and lies in the funniest positions. He sleeps in the laundry room at night, but every morning after his morning pee in the garden, he comes in and snuggles in the bed for an hour.”

Finn loves his walks in the park and swimming in the ocean. Georgia shares an amusing incident, “He is so greedy that he grabbed an entire bree off the coffee table when we had friends over for drinks. Luckily, we managed to grab it out of his mouth before he swallowed any. He then managed to steal a wedge of lime and gulped that down not minding the sour taste.”

The Mann family was moving to London, UK. Georgia says, “I am from the United Kingdom and my husband is Australian. I want to be home in the UK near my family and friends.” She adds, “Finn is the love of our lives. We feel so lucky to have found Finn, and we are very much a family of three. We cannot imagine life without him.”

Like most pet parents, Georgia was anxious about her seven-month-old pup having to fly such a long-distance. She was worried that the travel experience might terrify her pup and change his personality. She says, “We are concerned about the flight and worried that it might make him very anxious. He is the most important thing to us both and getting him there safely and as happily as possible is our absolute priority.”

The family decided to engage the services of a pet relocation company who specialise in relocating pets internationally. Georgia did a lot of research before she chose Petraveller to help with Finn’s pet travel. She says, “I was very impressed with Petraveller’s positive reviews.”

Finn was such a well-mannered puppy on his long flight from Sydney to London and reached his new home safely and in great spirits. Thank you, Georgia, for trusting Petraveller with your precious boy Finn. We wish you happiness and many fun adventures with Finn out there in the United Kingdom.
