The Morris family brought home Siberian Husky Ghost from PureBred Breeders. Elizabeth takes a trip down memory lane as she recalls, “Ghost came to us from Florida. I remember picking him up at the cargo hold. He was a puppy at the time and had pooped all over himself. He didn’t care the slightest bit though and wanted cuddles the second I opened the door. I tried to clean him the best I could on the ride home in the backseat of my truck. He was the most loving dog I had ever met and still is.”

Speaking about Ghost’s quirks, Elizabeth laughs and shares, “Ghost is very much like me. He is funny all the time; he has developed a bit of my personality and seems to be sassy in the same way I am. I particularly love when he doesn’t want to do something, and he does it, but not before he shoots me with an eye roll and a giant sigh.” Elizabeth adds, “Ghost loves Jon more and stares at the door longingly whenever he leaves to go somewhere.”

The Morris family were relocating to New York for work. Elizabeth says, “We relocate a lot for work and have thought about leaving Ghost behind in the past, but he is happiest with us, whether it is in Australia, or our home in Maine or out on some remote island. We are a part of his stability and routine and his pack.”
