Jack, Bella and Charlotte

Sydney to London

Trip Overview

Owner: Charlotte Hanson

Origin: Sydney

Pet Names: Jack and Bella

Destination: London

Breed: Pug x Jack Russell and French Bulldog

“Jack and Bella are calm dogs who enjoy the company of people.”

Charlotte and her adorable pets Jack and Bella travelled from Sydney to London with Petraveller. Read to know more about Jack and Bella and their international relocation experience with Petraveller.

Adorable Pug x Jack Russell Jack has been a part of Charlotte’s life since he was twelve weeks old. Charlotte recalls, “Jack relocated to Sydney with us from the United Kingdom in 2017. He is very friendly, loves people and company.”

French Bulldog Bella is a rescue pup that Charlotte gave a forever home when she adopted her in Sydney three years ago. Charlotte shares, “Bella has had a few puppies with her last owner. She is an absolute sweetheart and has come out of her shell since she came home.”

Charlotte talks about Jack’s personality. She says, “Jack is a typical Jack Russell, he is excitable and loves a good play and run around the park, but also loves to chill and have an afternoon snooze. Jack enjoys his walks and stuffed toys. He can be a fussy eater but will never say no to cheese! Jack is a very good boy with a happy nature.”

Bella, on the other hand, loves cuddles and her little brother Jack. She often mothers him like a baby. Charlotte says, “Bella is a cuddle bug and wants to be with you all the time. She needs short walks and loves her food and water.” She adds, “Bella has high blood pressure and mild COPD. Due to her breed, she needs to be kept cool, well-hydrated and out of the heat. She is on medication and therefore the extra special cargo.” Jack and Bella are very calm dogs who enjoy the company of people.

Charlotte and her family were moving back to London. “We relocated to Sydney for work, but after four years, our visa is coming to an end, and an opportunity has presented itself to return home. Whilst we have enjoyed our time in Australia, it is very far from friends and family, and we are looking forward to our next chapter,” says Charlotte. Leaving Jack and Bella behind was never an option for Charlotte.

Charlotte decided to engage the services of an international pet transport agency to relocate her dogs. She started her search for a company that would transport snub-nosed breeds safely to London. Charlotte says, “I found the prospect of flying both dogs, but especially Bella given her breed, very daunting and stressful.”

During her research, Charlotte stumbled upon Petraveller, and reached out to them to manage the move. Charlotte says, “Petraveller had a lot more experience with flying Bulldogs and Pugs. I felt that the owners of these dogs were sincere when they recommended Petraveller to other people relocating with dogs. Petraveller took extra time and precautions to ensure that both dogs were handled with care and were given what they needed on their way to the UK.”

We are glad to say that Jack and Bella had an incredible journey and made it to London in great spirits. Thank you, Charlotte, for trusting Petraveller with Jack and Bella’s international relocation. We wish you a wonderful life ahead filled with fun, laughter and exciting adventures in the United Kingdom.
