Pretty Jack Russell Terrier Jane travelled across the world from Sydney to Paris with Petraveller. Pet parent Juan talks about his adorable pet and explains why he reached out to Petraveller for Jane’s international pet relocation.

Jane is a rescue dog who came into Juan’s life in 2010. Juan says, “We brought Jane when she was a few months old as company to our other dog, a Beagle, who unfortunately passed away recently.” 

Jane is very calm and relaxed inside the house, but she’s energetic when outdoors, running around fast chasing the ball. According to Juan, Jane prefers the company of people over dogs. Juan explains, “Jane tolerates dogs that leave her in peace but does not like playing with any dog.”

Jane likes treats but is not motivated by food like other dogs. Juan says, “Jane doesn’t demand food, like our Beagle who used to do it persistently. She will demand scratches or time to sit next to you or on top of you. I feel not having the other dog in the house, and the Covid lockdown has made her more attached to us and potentially more anxious about being left alone.” Juan adds, “Jane does not bark much. But if she wants attention, she’ll let out a single bark.”

Juan was heading back home to Paris, France. “We moved to Australia with a fixed time of return to Europe, and Jane was always going to make the round-trip,” says Juan.
