Here’s the story of a cheeky Labrador Retriever, Jazzy, and a chilled out Jack Russell Terrier, Buddy, who relocated from Perth to Auckland with Petraveller. Read to know about Jazzy and Buddy’s international pet relocation experience.

About four years ago, Holly and her fiancé brought home Jazzy when she was a puppy. Holly fondly says, “Jazzy is very much our fur baby and has been on many family holidays. She never misses out on any adventure!” 

Later, in early 2020, Buddy joined Holly’s family. Holly says, “Buddy’s previous owner was looking to rehome him due to their travel plans. Buddy is a very loyal little dog and has fit into our family extremely well. He is particularly tolerant of Jazzy, who can often be quite playful and full-on!”

Holly goes on to reveal Jazzy’s quirky side. She laughs and says, “Jazzy is a cheeky dog and will often knock on the door to demand we let her in. On several occasions, she has even managed to open the door herself! Jazzy loves toys, especially squeaky ones. Like all Labradors, she loves food and will do anything for a treatie.” 

Buddy is a very easy-going dog. Holly says affectionately, “Buddy can be super playful or very chilled out, depending on who he is around. He absolutely loves playing with the garden hose but isn’t a fan of any other water source! Buddy loves car rides and will always be the first in the car when we are going anywhere.”

Holly and her fiancé were moving back to their home town in Auckland, New Zealand, to be closer to their family. “Since Jazzy and Buddy are part of our family, there was never any questions about whether or not they would be relocating to New Zealand with us. Their travel booking for New Zealand was the very first thing to get booked in,” says Holly.
