Juliet, Arya and Wendy

Sydney to Toronto

Trip Overview

Owner: Wendy Vicary

Origin: Sydney

Pet Name: Juliet and Arya

Destination: Toronto

Breed: 2x Domestic Shorthair

“Petraveller was well-informed, knowledgeable and answered all my questions.”

Wendy recently travelled with her gorgeous cats, Juliet and Arya, from Sydney to Toronto with Petraveller. Wendy talks about her pets and shares her experience of using Petraveller.

Juliet was rescued by Wendy’s partner Greg from a softball field where Juliet and her family had been dumped when she was a few months old. Arya was adopted from the RSPCA.

Wendy describes Juliet as a very nervous cat who tends to startle easily. She says, “Juliet doesn’t like new people and hides when visitors come in. She has always been this way. She doesn’t like being handled, only when she deems it necessary or pleasurable, on her terms.” She adds, “Juliet isn’t friendly with the other cat Arya, but they tolerate each other and don’t fight or hurt each other. She is the queen of cuddles at night or when she sits on my lap.”

Talking of Arya, Wendy says, “Arya is a shy but friendly girl who is very curious about other animals. She hides from visitors but will come out when her tummy commands it.”

Wendy was moving back home to Toronto, Canada, after living in Sydney for twenty years. She says, “My parents are getting old and need a bit of TLC; we have a home in Canada where they can come and stay or live if necessary.” Leaving her fur babies behind wasn’t an option for Wendy, so she was taking them along.

Wendy started looking for a reliable international pet travel agency who could assist her in relocating her pets. Wendy says, “When I spoke to another agency, the girl on the phone couldn’t answer any of the questions that I asked her. But when I spoke to Petraveller’s representative, I found that he was well informed, knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently.” She adds, “I also read reviews of a few companies, and Petraveller’s reviews were all good while the others had some serious issues when transporting pets.”

Juliet and Arya had a fantastic flight from Sydney to Toronto, and are getting used to the cold Toronto weather. Thank you, Wendy, for choosing Petraveller to relocate your beloved fur babies. We wish you happiness and hope you make some great memories in Toronto with sweet Juliet and Arya.
