Luna and Hannah

Melbourne to London

Trip Overview

Owner: Hannah Bruce

Origin: Melbourne

Pet Name: Luna

Destination: London

Breed: British Shorthair

“Luna is a sensitive soul and a purr machine!”

Here’s the relocation story of adorable British Shorthair Luna, who is the purrfect companion to her pet parent Hannah.

Travel has become a significant challenge with the COVID-19 pandemic, and pet travel is now more challenging than ever. Nonetheless, Petraveller relocated a beautiful British Shorthair, Luna, from Melbourne to London. Pet mum Hannah talks about her pet’s lovely nature and explains why she chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

Luna is a bi-colour British Shorthair kitty with big amber eyes and loves a good cuddle. Hannah says fondly, “Luna is two years old, and she still has a lot of energy. She loves to run around chirping to herself!”

Hannah describes Luna as a sensitive soul who is a purr machine. Talking about Luna’s personality, Hannah smiles and shares, “Luna’s favourite daytime activity is looking out the window, chirping to the birds and playing chase with the flies. She strangely loves a good car journey and just curls up and falls asleep. Luna also loves a good game of tag.”

Hannah laughs and adds, “She runs up to me every evening and taps me on the leg before sprinting away from me. She will then wait for me to find her and tag her. This game can last for hours!”

After living in Australia for three years, Hannah was returning to her home in London, in the United Kingdom. Hannah says, “The Covid lockdowns made me reassess where I want to be in my life, and a great opportunity came up with work. So, I decided to relocate back to the UK.” Leaving Luna behind would make Hannah very unhappy, hence she decided to take her along.

Hannah started looking for international pet travel options to move her cat to London. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, international pet transport has become an uphill struggle because of reduced flights and travel restrictions. Therefore, Hannah decided to take help from a professional team that specialises in transporting pets abroad. During her search, Hannah came across Petraveller, and she chose to partner up with them for Luna’s international relocation from Melbourne to London.

Hannah explains the reason to choose Petraveller. She says, “In the time of COVID, Petraveller had the best customer service. I immediately felt at ease after talking

to them with the reassurance and honest communication.”

We are more than happy to say that Luna made her journey with great ease despite the unpredictability due to Covid. Thank you, Hannah, for trusting Petraveller with Luna’s international relocation. We wish you lots of fun and laughter with dear Luna in the United Kingdom.
