When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, many people moved back to their home towns. Mark and his beloved Staffordshire Terrier Mabel travelled from Melbourne to London with Petraveller. Mark talks about Mabel’s personality and what led him to Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

Mabel became a part of the Hewlett family when they relocated to Melbourne in January 2019. She was born in Northern Victoria.

Talking about Mabel’s nature, Mark shares, “Mabel loves the beach, and we take her there every evening. She chases the ball relentlessly and runs fast over the sand.”

After living in Australia for eight years, the Hewlett family were moving back home to London, United Kingdom. Mark says, “We are relocating due to the COVID-19 pandemic to be near our friends and family in the United Kingdom. We loved living in Australia, the experiences, the people and the climate. It is now time to return home and start another chapter in our lives.” As the family dearly adores Mabel, it was clear that she would be joining them too.

Organising an intercontinental move during the COVID-19 pandemic is extremely stressful. Mark decided to take the assistance of a reputed pet transport agency to relocate his pet overseas. Like all other pet parents, Mark wanted the best for Mabel, he wanted to make sure she would be well looked after during her long journey. Mark reached out to Petraveller to handle his pet’s travel.
