Maisie and Morgwn

“Maisie is the heart of our family.”

Morgwn recently travelled with their family dog Maisie from Melbourne to Frankfurt with Petraveller. He talks about her quirky personality and why he chose Petraveller for Maisie’s international pet relocation to Frankfurt.

Maisie joined the Shaw family shortly after they moved to their first home. Morgwn recollects, “We found her on an internet ad (Gumtree) just as we were about to give up ever finding the right dog for us. She was the last of her litter. Maisie has been the heart of our family ever since, and we never like to be away from her for long.”

Pet dad Morgwn describes his pet’s personality. He says fondly, “Maisie is very caring and protective. She can detect when any of us are not feeling great, and she sits with us, guarding us and just making us feel better. She is anxious and doesn’t deal with new people and things very well, so we’re quite concerned about how she will cope with the travel.”

Morgwn encounters heartwarming experiences with Maisie every day. For instance, Morgwn says, “Maisie loves cheese and peanut butter. She can hear the fridge door opening from anywhere on our block, and she comes running. She also guiltily jumps off the bed when she hears any of us enter the house.”

He adds, “Maisie is always excited to see us when we get home. She loves her dogwalker and her Oma and has some good friends in our family friends and their dogs.”

The Shaw family were relocating to Frankfurt, Germany. “My wife is from Germany, and we have family there. I was offered a job in Munich, so this seemed like a great opportunity for us,” says Morgwn. As the Shaw family dearly adores their furry family member, it was evident that Maisie would be joining them in Frankfurt.

Morgwn decided to hire an international pet relocation agency to help relocate his girl Maisie to Frankfurt.
