Mambo, Memphis and Joelle

“Mambo is the most beautiful dog and Memphis is a very sensitive dog!”

Joelle and her two handsome doggies, Mambo and Memphis, travelled from Perth to Singapore with Petraveller. Joelle talks about her pets and explains why she chose Petraveller for their international pet relocation.

Mambo is eleven year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Cross. He’s a typical Cavalier with a plush coat of fur and original colours of white and brown. Memphis is a ten year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Cross that Joelle adopted when he was six months old.

Mambo is a very cheerful and playful dog. He’s mild in temper and loves pets and hugs from everyone, irrespective of whether he knows the person or not. “Mambo is an emotional dog since he was a pup, and so we called him the Emo Dog,” exclaims Joelle.

She continues, “He’s always very aware when I’m travelling. When I take out my suitcases to pack, he will sit in the case and will not move. He’s the most beautiful dog, and my world too!” Mambo was diagnosed with a heart murmur when he two years old and is on medication ever since.

Memphis is a very wary and sensitive dog. Joelle says, “He has been bullied as pup and he’s always wary and sceptical towards people especially strangers. He gets intimidated by big dogs but is very friendly and loving towards puppies. However, he doesn’t like snappy dogs and will not stop to retaliate if he is aggravated even if they’re puppies.”

Joelle adds, “Most people see him as a ferocious dog but he’s like that because he’s scared and only wants to protect himself. He’s a very timid and gentle dog deep down if lavished with TLC.”

Joelle was moving back to her home town in Singapore. As Mambo and Memphis are a huge part of Joelle’s life, it didn’t cross her mind to leave them behind.

Joelle decided to take help from an international pet relocation company to handle Memphis and Mambo’s pet travel to Singapore and reached out to Petraveller.
