Recently Petraveller transported adorable Domestic Shorthair Maple safely from Sydney to Sao Paulo. Pet mum Jessica talks about her cat’s fantastic personality and tells us why she chose Petraveller for Maple’s international relocation.

Jessica had always wanted a cat in her life since she moved to Australia, as she missed her 20-year-old cat back home in Brazil. Jessica says, “I love cats, so my husband and I decided it was time to have a companion. I tried to adopt, but it was quite hard at the time. We found a nice family that just had kittens from their cat, and that’s how we found our little one.”

Maple is the most amazing cat. He is super friendly and loving. “He is very calm and is normally fine in his cage. He behaves very well with his vet. He is not used to having too many people and other animals around him, which distresses him a little. He can also get quite anxious in a noisy environment where he does not feel safe,” says Jessica.

After living in Australia for six years, Jessica and her husband decided to move back to their home country in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She says, “There was never a consideration of not taking Maple with us.”
