Here’s a pawfect travel story of two best friends reuniting after being separated in two different countries. Read to know more about Jack Russell cross Medo and his international pet relocation experience from Sydney to Montreal.

Medo has been a part of Rae’s life since 2011 when he was a puppy and has been a best friend to Rae ever since. Rae recollects, “He has been by my side through the end of high school, university and beyond.” 

Talking about her pet’s nature, Rae says affectionately, “Medo is very clever, maybe a little too clever. He’s very anxious and isn’t the best at making doggy friends, but when he does, it’s very cute to see. He’s a great judge of character. He loves everyone who loves dogs and anyone who will throw a ball at him.”

Medo loves playing fetch with kids because they have so much energy, just like him. He can play for hours. Rae laughs and shares, “Medo gets very chatty when he wants something. People always laugh when they hear him ‘speak’.”

Rae moved to Montreal for a working holiday with the intention of returning to Australia. She says, “I fell in love with the city and decided to stay on. Leaving Medo behind was never an option. I know him better than anyone else ever could. He’ll be so happy to see me.”
