Mercedes, Rosie and Ingrid

“Mercedes is friendly, and Rosie is playful.”

Ingrid recently moved back home to Amsterdam as she dearly missed her family. She used Petraveller to relocate her beautiful cats, Mercedes and Rosie, from Brisbane to Amsterdam. Ingrid talks about her cats and explains why she employed Petraveller for their international pet relocation.

The Wildemors family brought home gorgeous Domestic Medium Hair Mercedes from the RSPCA when she was one year old and made her a part of their family. Ingrid shares, “We had a dog, but the kids wanted a cat, and we love all animals. Mercedes stood out at the RSPCA as she was very cuddly.”

Mercedes is a friendly, social and sweet cat. Ingrid talks about her warm personality. She says fondly, “Mercedes enjoys company and always stays close to us. When we play volleyball, she will watch. When we walk the dog, she walks with us, and if we have coffee on the veranda, she will sit next to us.” Ingrid adds, “Mercedes has character. She loves to sleep and prefers our walk-in closet somewhere high and dark. However, Mercedes meows when she is in a cage but settles with time.”

Gorgeous Ragdoll Rosie became a part of the Wildemors family as a kitten two years ago. Ingrid shares, “The kids wanted a kitten, and we love animals, and so we got Rosie. We slowly let Mercedes and Rosie get used to each other in the house. Most of the time, Rosie and Mercedes live peacefully together, wash each other, but occasionally they fight as happens in every family”. Ingrid continues, “Rosie is playful, sweet, and a real Ragdoll and quite easily adjusts to new situations.”

After living in Australia for sixteen years, the Wildemors family were heading back home to Amsterdam, the Netherlands. “We miss our family, so we are returning to the Netherlands to be closer to them. Our cats are part of the family and will help our two boys (12 and 13) adjust and make a new home and life in the Netherlands,” says Ingrid.

Ingrid decided to seek assistance from a team of international pet transport specialists to manage Mercedes and Rosie’s transport to the Netherlands.
