Misa, Taro and Violetta

Violetta travelled with her gorgeous Norwegian Forest cats, Misa and Taro, from Brisbane to Helsinki with Petraveller. Violetta talks about her pets and why she chose Petraveller to handle their international pet relocation to Finland.

Violetta brought Misa home from a breeder 400km away from home. Violetta smiles as she recollects, “The breeder had Ragdolls and Norwegian Forest Cats. Misa walked in front of me and meowed. I looked at her and asked her if she wants to come home with me to which she replied Meow. It was set, Misa chose me.”

Violetta and Misa share an incredible bond. Violetta says fondly, “Misa is a mama’s girl. She takes her time deciding if humans are worth her time and attention. She’s a little diva.”

Taro grew up with Forest Cats and dogs. Violetta recalls, “When I went to pick Taro up, he came to the door with the dogs. He cried the whole way home from the breeder and is still afraid of travelling in a car.” Violetta laughs and adds, “For Taro, every person entering the front door is a potential friend and a scratching buddy.”

Violetta was heading back to her home town in Helsinki, Finland. Leaving her beloved fur babies behind was never an option for Violetta.

Moving a pet from one country to another comes with perplexing rules and regulations. Hence, Violetta decided to engage the services of an experienced pet transport company to relocate her pets to Helsinki safely. During her hunt for an IPATA-accredited pet transport company, she stumbled upon Petraveller and designated the job of relocating Misa and Taro to Finland to Petraveller. I had also messaged another company for a quote, but they were pretty slow in responding.”
