Moscow and Emma

Melbourne to Singapore

Trip Overview

Owner: Emma Humann

Origin: Melbourne

Pet Name: Moscow

Destination: Singapore

Breed: Russian Blue

“Moscow is our first baby.”

Petraveller flew charming Russian Blue Moscow from Melbourne to Singapore. Here’s pet mum Emma talking about her pet’s nature and why she reached out to Petraveller for Moscow’s international pet transport.

Moscow joined the Humann family when he was eight weeks old. Emma says fondly, “Moscow is our first baby. He has adjusted incredibly well to having two little people join our family over the last three and a half years and loves to nap on our big girl’s bed.”

Emma describes Moscow as a very affectionate cat who also likes to spend time by himself. Emma shares her pet’s personality, “Moscow is an inside cat and goes outside only if he escapes, which happens occasionally. However, he has never gone very far as he’s always been under close watch. We always take Moscow with us when we go away on weekends. He doesn’t like the carrier and often poos as soon as he is in it. He prefers to travel on our laps in the car than inside his carrier. He doesn’t like travelling but will love it once he is reunited with his family.”

Talking about Moscow’s temperament, Emma says, “Moscow nips and swipes if he gets too much attention or not enough of it, though this is unusual because Moscow is an incredibly easy-going and affectionate cat. He loves being cuddled and petted and always chooses to sleep on his mum and dad’s bed at night.”

Emma and her family were relocating to Singapore. “We are relocating for my husband’s work. At one point, we thought it would be cruel to make Moscow travel, but our vet encouraged us to take him as she said it would be worse for him to be separate from us and that there are great companies that relocate animals,” says Emma.

Emma decided to engage the services of an international pet relocation agency for Moscow’s move to Singapore. She reached out to Petraveller based on a recommendation from her vet. Emma says, “Our vet recommended Petraveller. I’ve been so impressed with the level of care and kindness from everyone I have spoken to at Petraveller. I was confident that Moscow was in the best hands.”

We are delighted to say that Moscow was calm and settled during his journey from Melbourne to Singapore. Thank you, Emma, for booking Petraveller for dear Moscow’s relocation. We wish you all the best on the move and big hugs to darling Moscow.
