Nugget and Ashwini

Ashwini and her cute Cavoodle Nugget travelled from Sydney to Mumbai, India, with Petraveller. She talks about her pet and tells us what led her to Petraveller for the international pet travel.

Ashwini and her husband have always had a pet during their childhood, and they wanted their daughter to share a similar experience and have a loving companion to play and grow up with. Ashwini says, “We saw Nugget and his brothers and sisters about two-and-half years ago when they were just a few weeks old. All of us immediately fell in love with them and decided to bring Nugget home.”

Ashwini describes Nugget as very friendly and playful. She says, “He is always excited to meet people and other dogs although he gets scared very easily. Recently, we’ve discovered that he gets uncomfortable when there is a fly in the house, especially if it is one of the largish ones.”

She continues, “Nugget prefers to always be with someone and does not like to be left alone in the house. He gets a bit anxious at times when he is alone.”

The Ranade family were moving back to their homeland, Mumbai, India. Ashwini says, “Nugget is part of our family and leaving him behind was never going to be an option.”

Relocating a pet across the world can be a stressful and time-consuming procedure, especially when you’re in the middle of your own relocation. One needs to be aware of all the rules and regulations of the country you’re relocating your pet to. To spare herself from the tedious process, Ashwini decided to hire experts to handle Nugget’s international pet transport. Nugget made his long journey safely and is now busy exploring his new surroundings in Mumbai. Ashwini couldn’t be happier with the pet travel experience. She says, “We really appreciate the updates we received when Nugget was travelling. It gave us a sense of relief and made us feel that he was being looked after well throughout the journey.”
