Odin and Anna

“Odin is an important part of our family.”

Anna and her gorgeous Siamese cat Odin were moving back home to Helsinki to be close to her loved ones. Read to know more about Odin and his international pet relocation experience with Petraveller.

Siamese cat Odin joined the Jumppanen family in November 2019. Behaviourally Odin is between a cat and a dog. He’s super social, loves to chat and cuddle. His favourite game is fetching paper balls.

Anna laughs and says, “Odin is a bit high maintenance in the sense that he needs a lot of attention and activities. I can imagine him getting a bit bored during the flight and to meow the whole trip though.”

Unlike most cats, Odin is very trusting of people and friendly to strangers. Anna cautions, “He gets overstimulated easily and is very scared of loud noises.”

Anna describes Odin as extremely affectionate and social. She says fondly, “He gets a little moody if he doesn’t get the attention he craves. That being said, he’s very friendly to strangers.”

Anna is Finnish, and she was heading back home to Helsinki, Finland to her family. She says, “I am moving back mainly due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions. I am from Finland and I want to live closer to my family and friends during these stressful times.” As an important member of the family, Odin was relocating with Anna.
