Otis and Mary

Otis and Mary moved from Australia to Cheshire, Manchester with Petraveller. Mary recollects the pet travel experience.

Otis became part of the Mulkeen family when he was eight weeks old in the United Kingdom. Even as a young pup, Otis was very spoiled and loved by all. He has never been on his own and he used to go to doggy daycare in the United Kingdom. Otis absolutely loves long walks off lead and playing in the water.

When Otis came to Australia three years ago, it was not a very pleasant experience for him as he struggled with the quarantine. The Mulkeen family had decided to never put him through this ordeal again. But when they had to move back to the UK to be closer to family, leaving him behind was never an option. Mary says, “Otis is like our child, and as you can imagine, he is loved so much. He loves everybody and especially enjoys being made a fuss of. He thinks he is human; he sleeps on our bed, sits at the table with us and he is wherever we are.”

When Mary decided to move back to the UK, she looked for an international pet relocation agency that was the most compassionate. Mary recalls, “Petraveller had the best reviews. After speaking to the staff, they completely put my mind at rest as I was starting to feel physically sick putting him through the move again.”
