“Percy is my shadow and my side-kick!”

Sylvia and her adorable Pug Percy travelled across the world from Sydney to Los Angeles with Petraveller. Sylvia talks about the special bond she shares with her pet and why she chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation to Los Angeles.

Percy the Pug became a part of the De Silva family in 2011 as a pup. Sylvia says, “We adopted Percy from another family. Since then, we have been inseparable, and everyone knows about the bond that Percy and I share. Whenever people catch up with me, they always make sure to ask about Percy!”

Percy is an incredibly loving and affectionate dog. He is also very boisterous and loves being with people. He is very energetic, loves attention, and enjoys being cuddled and petted. 

Sylvia says fondly, “Percy is my shadow and my side-kick! He loves company and being around children as he enjoys playing. He is full of energy but knows how to kick up his feet and relax.” She laughs and continues, “Percy loves food and treats. He will stare at you for eternity, hoping you’ll give him even just a wee bit of your snack.”

Sylvia was relocating to Los Angeles, USA, with Percy. “After my visa to the United States was approved, relocating Percy to be there with me was my number one priority,” says Sylvia.

Sylvia chose to take professional help to relocate her pet Percy from Sydney to Los Angeles. She reached out to Petraveller to help bring Percy to the US. She says, “We originally spoke to Petraveller about the relocation, but eventually went with another company due to the flight schedules. However, that company changed their policy to not fly Pugs anymore less than a week before my flight to the US. We then went back to partnering with Petraveller, who were great in helping us get things back on track.”
