Raspberry and Celine

Brisbane to Paris

Trip Overview

Owner: Celine Flamain

Origin: Brisbane

Pet Name: Raspberry

Destination: Paris

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

“Raspberry’s favorite pastime is walking on computer keyboards.”

Celine adopted Domestic Shorthair, Raspberry after her previous owner abandoned her. Celine talks about about her cat and why she chose Petraveller for the pet transport to Paris.

Celine adopted Raspberry when Raspberry was seven-years-old after her previous owner abandoned her, she is thirteen now. Raspberry was initially adopted as a kitten from the RSPCA in Singapore, and Celine relocated her to Australia in November 2016.

Celine talks about her pet’s personality, “Raspberry is very friendly with humans, even people she has never met before. She is very cuddly, has never scratched anyone intentionally, and does not bite except a gentle squeeze when playing. Raspberry is very territorial with other animals. She is generally confident in new environments with unknown people as long as there are no other animals around.”

Celine laughs and continues, “Raspberry’s favourite pastime is walking on computer keyboards, including at the vets. She has also been known to take chin or belly selfies walking on my smartphone.”

A senior cat, Raspberry has had gum and teeth issues due to which she has lost a few teeth. She eats only soft food and prefers fish to meat. Her favourite treat is tuna flakes in spring water.

After spending several years in Australia, Celine was heading back home to Paris. She says, “I never considered leaving Raspberry behind, not only because I know cats that age never get re-adopted and usually have a very sad end of life but mostly because I am very attached to her. She has been my best friend for almost seven years now. I just absolutely cannot even consider leaving her behind.”

Celine decided to get help from an accredited international pet transport company to relocate her pet. She got in touch with Petraveller to relocate her adorable kitty from Brisbane to Paris. Celine says, “Petraveller’s good reputation and the standard of care was clearly a big cut above the competition. I appreciate relocating a cat that age is not without its risks, but I know she is in good hands.”

Raspberry had an incredible journey and made it safely to Paris. Thank you, Celine, for trusting Petraveller to relocate your adorable cat. We wish you a beautiful life ahead in France with beautiful Raspberry.
