Stella, Riley and Charlotte

“Stella is my little angel, and Riley is my right-hand man.”

Charlotte became a pet parent when she adopted Rhodesian Ridgeback x Greyhound Riley from the RSPCA in February 2014. A few months later, in July 2014, Charlotte adopted German Shepherd x Labrador Stella and made her a part of the family.

Charlotte talks about Riley’s fun-loving personality. She smiles and says, “Riley is a goofy, fun boy who loves squeaky soft toys! He can be a little nervous at times but is a sweet and gentle boy. I have fostered many puppies, and Riley is amazing with them! He teaches them to behave, sets boundaries and brings them out of their shells. Riley is my right-hand man.”

Stella is a registered therapy dog. Charlotte shares, “Before Covid, we did visits to the neurological ward at our local hospital. Stella brought so much joy to patients, their families, and the staff on the ward. She loved her job. She is the sweetest, best snuggle dog ever! Stella is my little angel.”

Charlotte was heading back to her home town in Dublin to be with her family and friends. She says, “Leaving my dogs behind was just not an option.”

Charlotte decided to hire a team of professional international pet transporters to make the journey comfortable and less stressful for her dogs.
