Suzy and Emma

Suzy the poser recently relocated from Melbourne to Auckland with Petraveller. Pet mum Emma speaks about Suzy’s personality and why she chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation. 

Nearly three years ago, Emma became a pet mum to Suzy when she moved to Melbourne from New Zealand. Emma had always wanted to have her own Cocker Spaniel and brought home Suzy when she was a little puppy.

Emma describes Suzy as an extremely loving and social dog. Emma says, “Suzy is not shy or timid. She however, will look to humans around her for reassurance if she feels out of her depth.” Emma laughs and adds, “Suzy loves the camera and will pose for anyone who asks her to sit and smile for the camera. She will seek out affection and expects everyone’s attention.” 

Suzy is a picky eater. Emma explains, “Suzy is often not particularly food-orientated. It is not unusual if she doesn’t eat her breakfast or dinner when it’s set down straight away. She’s more of a grazer.”

Emma was moving back home to Auckland, New Zealand. She says, “I’m moving back to New Zealand as I can do my role from there and with Victoria still having tight restrictions I’d prefer to be back in New Zealand with my family.” She adds, “Leaving Suzy behind was never an option.”

Emma started looking around for experienced pet transportation companies to assist her in relocating her precious pup to Auckland. She says, “I received quotes from all the main agencies in Australia. I preferred the communication experience from Petraveller. One company that I contacted was extremely sales-focussed, I was feeling harassed by them. Recently, some friends used Petraveller and raved about the experience, so I felt more comfortable with my choice.”
