“Teddy is a lazy old man who likes to sleep.”
Benjamin travelled with his handsome Greyhound Teddy from Melbourne to Christchurch with Petraveller. He talks about his pet and what led him to Petraveller for Teddy’s international pet travel.
Teddy is a seven-year-old rescue ex-racing Greyhound. Benjamin recalls, “I was a foster carer for Greys for some time in 2017. Teddy, however, won over my heart, and I decided to adopt him.” He smiles and adds, “He has been my best mate since.”
Benjamin describes Teddy as a lazy old man who likes to sleep on the bed most of the time. Benjamin says, “Teddy is very anxious around other dogs. He can become slightly aggressive towards other dogs and cats when they haven’t been introduced to him slowly in a safe and familiar environment.”
Benjamin was returning home to Christchurch, New Zealand because of the after-effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Leaving his best mate Teddy behind was never an option for Benjamin.
Benjamin contacted Petraveller to help him with Teddy’s relocation from Melbourne to Christchurch. Benjamin says, “My very good friends used Petraveller to relocate their French Bulldog home to New Zealand recently and they couldn’t speak higher of the service they received. So, it was an easy decision for us based on their experience.”
We are happy to say that Teddy had a smooth and stress-free flight from Melbourne to Christchurch and is now busy getting used to the Kiwi way of life. Thank you, Benjamin, for giving us the opportunity to relocate your charming boy Teddy. We wish you good luck and lots of kisses to Teddy.
