Willa and Lisa

We flew cute Beagle Willa from Perth to Los Angeles. Proud mum, Lisa shares Willa’s story and explains why she chose Petraveller.

Willa is a very gentle and a sweet-natured dog; however, she can get excited and needs reassurance to feel secure and to stay quiet and calm. Lisa says, “Willa is people friendly and has never bitten anyone. She loves to play and tear around faster than anyone can, and enjoys long walks every day.” Lisa adds, “She does very well with positive reinforcement. Rawhide chews are her favourite reward.”

Willa greets everyone at the door or gate by wriggling and sniffing. If her tail is thumping on the floor or on the wall, it’s an indication that someone is coming before the bark. Lisa says, “The best words to describe her are cheeky and sweet.”

Lisa and her husband were moving to Los Angeles to be closer to their ageing parents who need support. Lisa says, “Our three children have grown and will be making their own homes. My husband and I will keep Willa with us, and she will be a delightful addition to the farm in Oregon with lots of room and smells to explore.”
