Karen and her slender Greyhound Winry had a stress-free pet travel experience from Sydney to Amsterdam with Petraveller. Karen talks about Winry’s quirky nature and shares her pet relocation experience.

Winry was a rescue dog from Armidale. Karen got her as a gift from an ex-boyfriend. She says cheekily, “I returned the boyfriend and kept the dog.”

Talking about Winry’s many quirks, Karen says, “Winry is full of quirks. When she gets excited, she will jump high enough to be on an eye level with you. She has the Greyhound skill of sleeping in any position and never has a problem with it. Sometimes she’ll crawl into spaces that no dog of her size should be able to fit into!”

She further says, “Winry is a lovely soul full of personality. She has fully adopted the breeds she is mixed with and is not very safe with small creatures, including dogs. She’s very reactive when she sees another creature of any size that isn’t human.”

Karen and Winry were relocating to Amsterdam, Netherlands. She says, “My partner found work overseas, so we’re moving over to meet him there.”
