Woody and Elizabeth

“Woody is a gentle giant.”

Elizabeth used Petraveller to relocate her handsome Bull Mastiff Woody from Melbourne to Christchurch. She talks about the special bond they share and how happy she was with the international pet relocation.

Elizabeth became a pet mum to Woody when she bought him as a puppy about four years ago. Since then they have travelled all over Australia together. Elizabeth smiles and says, “Woody is a gentle giant. He gets along with people of all ages and loves affection and attention.”

Elizabeth shares, “Woody has mostly been out in the country with me on farms. He’s like a son to me and follows me wherever I go. He is a friendly and good-natured dog who loves cuddles.” 

Elizabeth was moving back home to Christchurch, New Zealand. She says, “I am originally from New Zealand and have travelled around Australia doing farm work for the last four years. I have now got to a point where I am ready to go home for a while and spend time with family.” It was evident that Woody would be joining her, too, as he follows Elizabeth everywhere.

Relocating a pet requires special attention as there a lot of procedures involved in the process. Elizabeth decided to hire a pet transport company to help relocate her boy safely to Christchurch. Elizabeth and her brother Thomas looked online for experienced international pet relocation companies and requested travel quotes from a few companies.
