Zoe, Mini and Kay

Adelaide to Manchester

Trip Overview

Owner: Kay Baumann

Origin: Adelaide

Pet Name: Zoe and Mini

Destination: Manchester

Breed: Samoyed x2

“Petraveller went above and beyond, and I cannot be more grateful.”

Gorgeous Samoyeds Zoe and Mini were well-behaved passengers on their journey from Adelaide to Manchester. Pet parent Kay speaks of the special bond she shares with her Samoyeds and why she chose Petraveller to manage their international pet relocation.

Zoe the Samoyed came into Kay’s life when she was an eight-week-old puppy. Kay recalls, “We already had three large mature male dogs, but she ruled the house since the minute she arrived.” She smiles and adds, “Zoe is very bossy with other dogs, but not with people. I have bonded with her like no other pet ever. She is devoted to me and follows me everywhere. She’s also true to her breed and a bit chatty when I’m asking her to do something against her will.”

Mini is a rescue dog and, unfortunately, has some behavioural issues. Kay explains, “She barks incessantly and was beaten for it as a puppy, but the barking hasn’t stopped. She’s been with us for a year now, and it’s taken almost the whole year for her to trust my husband won’t hurt her. When I get settled in the UK, I am going to take Mini for basic training to work on her issues. Unfortunately, she’s a bit loud and overexcitable for now.”

Kay absolutely adores her pets. She says fondly, “Zoe loves to cuddle, resting her head in my lap and holding my leg with her paw. Mini likes to sleep on the sofa and cuddle up with me until she gets too warm. Mini is very demanding and barks for attention until she gets it.”

Kay shares, “We have orange trees in the garden, and Zoe often helps herself to an orange, holding it in her paws and slurping the juicy flesh from the peel. Mini has a very loving nature. Although she’s younger, she cleans Zoe’s face, and ears for her like a momma dog.”

Kay was heading back home to Manchester, UK to be with her family and was taking Zoe and Mini with her. She started looking for pet travel options to relocate her pets abroad. Kay says, “I was originally recommended to use another pet transport agency by people in a Facebook group I’m in. But when I did some checking, I found out they were in liquidation. I Googled and found Petraveller, and it had the best reviews from satisfied customers. I just want to thank you for continuing to do a great job in these difficult circumstances.”

Zoe and Mini reached Manchester in great spirits and are well settled in their new home. Kay is extremely pleased with their pet travel experience. She says, “Thank you for everything you have done to get my puppers from Adelaide to Manchester. Petraveller went above and beyond, and I cannot be more grateful.”

Thank you, Kay, for trusting us with Zoe and Mini’s international relocation. We wish you a good life ahead and many incredible adventures with Zoe and Mini out there in Manchester.
